Founder
Ethan Kigundu founded Score 7 after his own experience with the SAT, IGCSE, and IB. He graduated with 44 out of 45 IB points, a 7 out of 7 in all his IB Subjects including: IB Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics AA, Business Management, English A, and French B, 7A*/2A at IGCSE, and a 1510 on the SAT.
Ethan is now studying Actuarial Science with a minor in Data Science at Michigan State University on a full-ride scholarship, including a paid professorial assistantship.
Outside of academics, Ethan holds Uganda's national record for the 3x3 Rubik's Cube, competed nationally in swimming, and represented Uganda at the Youth Chess Olympiad.
Creation & Philosophy
Score 7 came from Ethan's own standardized exam experience. Ethan realized that every student was taught the same content and yet scores continued to differ between students. That lead to the realization that top scores came down to approach and strategy not just extra content.
Why Score 7
The name reflects the goal. A top score isn't due to hundreds of hours of tutoring. It comes from knowing exactly how to approach a question and having the confidence to do it independently. That's what Score 7 is built to teach.
